[EDIT] Returning comments has become too dangerous for my computer. I've gotten tons of viruses from peoples' sites by just loading them in my browser (even with Norton on), and a lot of them can't be deleted. It's really pissing me off. If you have a fucking virus, get it off your site (some viruses attach things to html documents, and when you upload them, other people get them). My god, I'm so fucking pissed right now. [/EDIT]

Has anyone noticed that I always seem to blog between midnight and 3 AM? I just noticed, haha. Anyway, it's starting to finally set in that summer is almost over. I've had the worst and most boring month ever because a lot of my friends have been out of town. And now that most are finally back, we only have 11 more days to spend together before school officially begins. The last two weeks before school are always hell. I'm always pressured to finish my summer reading, go back to school shopping, and do all that stuff. Fortunately, I've accomplished one of those two things: the shopping part. Heh, well it was the easier of the two! And on top of all the mounting stress leading up to the first day, 'registration' is this coming week. I'm really not in any mood to even set foot in that hellhole known as school. I will just become too depressed over having my freedom taken away by another year of school. I love summer, and I really wish it was longer! But really, who doesn't? I think when school starts, I'm going to start cutting back on internet stuff. I've been online a lot this summer, and I just can't keep that up when school starts again. This is such a cliche excuse, but I need to improve my grades this school year. No, I'm not leaving or putting my site on hiatus... just don't expect updates every day or every other day. I wish I had better self control, ugh.

As I mentioned earlier, I got to go shopping today for back to school stuff (without the parental units, which was fun). I got some clothes from American Eagle, Hollister, PacSun, and Aeropostale. I really don't remember how much money I spent, but it was a lot. I still have a few things to try on, and then I'm going to wash it all. I'll try to take some pictures of my favorite new stuff for you all to see. I'm quite proud of my new clothes! Gotta love credit cards.

Speaking of school (well, I guess this sort of fits in with this category), does anyone watch Degrassi? I'm really excited about the season finale coming up next week. I just wish they didn't delay the episodes for the United States. The upcoming season finale takes place at the end of the schoolyear, but it's already the end of summer by the time it's airing. I wonder how long we'll have to wait for the new season. I'm seriously addicted to that show, and I don't know how I'm going to handle my life when the season ends, haha. I suppose I'll have to tape all the reruns and watch them repetitively until the new season premieres. And while we're on the subject of Degrassi... I really need to get Degrassi-Online.com up and running. It's been dead for 8 months (well, technically it never was alive), and the domain's going to expire soon. I just need a co-owner... anyone interested?

This is a momentous occasion for Remixx.net: I've made a new layout (yes, myself!)... Click here to change your skin to the new default skin, Breathe On Me. I'm really feeling the colors on this layout; the metallic blue feel to it reminds me of winter. In addition to the new layout, I've organized a portfolio page with a lot of my past layouts/graphics from the past year. I really only made it to shut the people up that said that I was untalented because I bought a lot of layouts recently. In my offline life, I've gone movie crazy. I think it's unhealthy how addicted I am to movies. Over the past week, I've seen Catwoman (which I blogged about on the 25th), I Robot, Old School (on HBO), The Bourne Supremecy, and The Bourne Identity (on HBO). I think the Bourne movies were amazing, and everyone should go see them. Now I know why they've done so well at the box office... watching them is like a roller coaster ride. It's so action packed! I sound like a commercial, don't I? I was supposed to have some friends come over tonight and watch DVDs with me, but one flaked on me and the plans kind of fell apart. Hopefully I'll get to do something tomorrow, because I've been really bored lately. I need a vacation from this boring life!

Welcome back to Remixx.net. The whole server was down (including Vortex, CamSlam, and everyone I host), but it's back up again. Two days without a site seems like a million years to me. I'm pathetic, I know. Anyway, I was quite productive during my short break. I finished one half of my summer reading, and I plan to do the rest today or tomorrow. I also finished a new layout. Yes, I've finally made another layout of my own, aren't you excited? Well, I'm going to go run backups on all my sites hosted on this server, just in case the downtime happens again. I'm hoping the domain works for everyone, and expect a real blog and a new layout soon!

I saw Catwoman tonight, and it was freaking amazing. I thought it was going to be overly corny like most "super hero" movies, but this one blew me away. I suppose one factor of me liking it was Halle Berry jumping around in a skimpy leather outfit with holes all over it... *imagines*. I urge you all to go see it right this second if you haven't already. I'm probably going to go see it again with some other friends. I seem to like seeing movies twice... I've done it with the past three movies I've seen. I'm such a generous patron to the movie industry, *sigh*.

I'm getting really upset about how fast summer is passing. It seems like just last week was the beginning of summer, but time has moved really fast lately. I can't believe it's already July 25, leaving me with only two weeks left of my vacation. This sucks. I've yet to even start my summer reading assignments, and I'm really not in the mood to go back to a boring life of sitting in classrooms all freaking day. And on top of that, I'm extremely nervous to begin my second to last year of high school. It's so scary to think about the future and knowing that I'm almost out in the real world. I think I'm getting a bit ahead of myself though.

Scott's tip of the day: Run virus scans on a regular basis (preferably more than once a week). I'm learning that lesson the hard way, with having to do multiple scans to somehow get rid of eight viruses that I've accumulated since July 9th, my last virus scan. Who would actually take time out of their lives to construct a virus to annoy other people? That just seems awfully pathetic to me. People like that need lives! I was hoping my Wall of Shame would set an example for all you potential copiers out there, but apparently the message isn't getting through.
