Writing you from camp
I’m writing this from the computer lab at UGA at my journalism camp. I’m on one of these new high tech macs, so I’m kind of confused. Everything looks all sharp and weird, and this computer is hard to figure out. I can’t even figure out how to copy and paste, so I can’t plug commenters… sorry! But I really want a Mac now. They’re so cool! Just letting you know I’m having lots of fun, and I’ll be back Saturday. See you then!
Edit: I just realized how horrible my site looks on this Mac. The tables are all misproportioned and some images are not alligned. What the hell? Sorry all you Mac users!

I have a mac laptop(ibook, the white one)..well they give them to us at school and we learn html and stuff on it, if your tables show up weird its probably because youre using % or something…but at home i have my windows..which i am very happy with!

Did you try pressing apple + C? I use a mac for journalism because the program we do our formatting in (QuarkXpress) is only compatible with a mac. It’s the only mac in our school. Boy, do we feel special.

We have macs in our Journalism/Yearbook room at school. Macs are cool, but slightly impractical since everyone has pcs. Have fun at journalism camp. Vortex seems empty without you. I wish summer would fast forward two weeks so I could get on with my vacation and activities.

My brother uses a mac, so I always check my coding and stuff on his computer… It’s really easy with macs.. Just remember - click and drag. That is the secret secret secret.

That’s great that journalism camp is going great. When I went to UALR for fabulous friday, which is an art program UALR holds for students the teacher picks to go and see the different art courses and stuff. I got to use a mac in the graphic design class. Photoshop was so different on there. I mean it looked the same, but like you had to do things different ways. It was hard, but it seems neat. LOL, I once had to use a high-tech mac at a journalism camp, too (last summer). To copy and paste…lemme see if I remember, I think you press their Alt key (whatever it’s called) and a letter…If I find it or remember it, I’ll be sure to let you know (because that was a tip they gave us). Have fun!
