When did life become so fucking complicated? Maybe it’s just part of growing up, but a lot of stuff has me confused right now. If only I could get away for a few days and sort things out in my head. I’m going insane. Really. I wish I could elaborate, but it’s all really personal.
School starts tomorrow (Aug. 15). Expect a detailed post about the first day, because I have a feeling everything I’ve been dealing with for the past two weeks is about to explode in my face.
PS: I’m in love with Gwen Stefani’s video for “Cool.” She’s regained her cool points (no pun intended). I was so happy not to see any fucking Japanese girls dancing around. It got to the point, though, where I was hunting for them in the background. Like “Where’s Waldo?” Heh.

Life sucks in general.
You know, “Where’s Waldo” is on the ALA’s top 100 most challenged books list. Isn’t that stupid. I think so. I hate Gwen Stephani. (=

School starts tomorrow (17th) for me, blahhh. Still haven’t read 300 pages of my summer reading either, haha oops.
Anyway I know I love her new video. She looks so good as a brunette too, it makes me wish she would stop bleaching out her hair. Yea, I was glad not to see her little Harajuku girls prancing around, that was getting really old. Hopefully they won’t pop up again for a while.

Yeah- I’m happy Gwen has finally no stupid ‘Harajuku’ girls dancing. She looks much better with brown hair, too. Her skin doesn’t look pale with brown hair (unlike with her platinuim hair, her skin looks as pale as her platinuim hair).

HAHA! Yes, I’m also in love with her. What a relief not hearing her sing about japanese girls and their oh so wicked style, lol.
And how weird is it seeing her with brown hair?! :O

I’m not a big fan of Gwen Stefani’s music.

That’s how I started Grade 10 last year, like an exploding time bomb. It fucked me over so bad. Don’t let it ruin your first day or your entire school year, keep it separate and focus on your work. Otherwise it’ll just end up really unhealthy and bad. I saw the video for Cool, it was good, I guess. I like the song a shitload better. The song is amazing. If I could put my childhood into one sound, that would be it. I don’t really wanna see the video too much though, just because some videos can ruin a song..
Jody Said:

Yeah, I liked that video too. It’s a bit refreshing that those Japanese girls aren’t in it. Also, I love the song. Have a nice day at school.

ahhh life, you think its complicated now, just you wait, it gets worse lol the best way to think about these complicated things is as a growth process, at least when its over you’ve grown as a person, and know how to handle similar situations
hope what ever is complicated right now sorts itself out soon.
school starts so early for you! thats not fair! in the UK school doesnt start till september. and yes gwen stafani has definatly made yup her video points with her new one, haha wheres waldo is wheres wally in the uk wow so weird

right, when the directors and ideas first came for stefani’s videos, they wanted to make it like ‘where’s waldo’. which i’m not complaining about because those are the best books. ever.
hope everything’s going well in life, or will start to sometime. maybe school’ll take your mind off things, although school usually makes me want to scream… it’s really the same thing.

I totally understand what you mean and I bet you have it worse than me since you’ll be a senior while I’ll be a junior. For serious, I literally cried when my sister asked me what I wanted to do when I graduate and she then asked me if I wanted to be a failure. That kind of thing scares me because i mean as soon as a person graduates then you’re on your own. No parents and no riding on your parents’ success, you have to make a name for yourself and that’s like the scariest possible thing. Not to mention going to college, living by yourself and making your own money and working at McDonalds is enough when you live with your parents but when you live by yourself and have to pay bills, feed yourself, clothe yourself and buy the unneccessaries… it’s like whoa.
And you probably have some person problems as well as ’shit I’m graduating soon’ but growing up is scary and exciting all at the same time and that’s what is most frustrating.
Damn, longest comment ever. I’m going to stop, for real.

I saw that video too, I don’t REALLY like Gwen Stefani, but I don’t have a problem with her. She’s just not my style. Omg, where did you get that song? I’ve been looking everywhere, because i’m totaly in love with Andrew. I bet its a great song. xD

Hope you have a good first day, seeing that it’s your very last year of high school! Can’t wait to hear about it.
