The last layout featuring Britney Spears and her god aweful pictures had been up entirely too long. I seriously liked it at first, but it got on my nerves after a while, and I'm assuming it was bugging all of you as well. To tell you the truth, I'm quite sick of the internet these days. I always have feelings to close my site when I have been away from the computer for a while. I seem to discover new things in life that are more appealing than sitting in front of a machine all day. Although I haven't had a very interesting and exciting summer, my interest in the internet has almost run out. I almost didn't even want to spend the time making a new layout because I felt I had outgrown this crap. I don't know about the future of the site, but we'll wait and see over the next few weeks. School is back in session on the 11th, so that might put a damper on this website for a while. I really want to focus more on my grades this schoolyear, since I slacked off last year. I've pretty much ruined my chances of getting into a really good college due to the fact that I got at least two C's every quarter last year. I feel like I haven't been living up to the student I could be, and that bugs me because I know I'm smart. I just need to apply myself, but I don't want to make that effort. This entry has been kind of.. blah, mostly because of the way I've been feeling lately. I just feel kind of depressed, like I'm a failure.. but hopefully that will change once I see all my friends again on the 11th. God, it makes me sick thinking about school though. I hate getting up early and living my life according to a schedule. I guess I do need structure in my life though. I hope I haven't weirded anyone out with this blog.. it seems kind of deep and depressing lol. Anyway, I might not be blogging for a few days because I'm off to Florida on Monday. I'll see you all when I get back, and don't forget to keep Vortex alive while I'm gone.

All the nice comments meant so much, and the constructive criticism was well appreciated. I think next month's issue will be even better with more longer articles, so check back August 27th for the next issue.. hopefully it'll be better!
Well I'm going to try to write an entry without the mouse to the computer since my mom took it. I'm not supposed to be on the computer at all for a week or so.. hmph. I can't believe it's almost August and school starts in 11 days! I feel like I've wasted the whole summer sitting around the house doing nothing, and I got none of my goals accomplished. I really wanted to start working out and excercising more, but that never happened. I'm seriously disgusted with myself this summer, and I wish I could have done something. I've had a headache all day thinking about the summer ending and going back to school. I hate the first day of school. I hate the nervousness that it causes. I'm probably making a bigger deal than this it really is, but I wish I could have gone back in time or something to make this summer memorable. It was such a waste... I have the biggest headache now, so I'm going to go lay down.

26COMMENTS // Blah.. sorry.. I haven't really been focusing on this site. I haven't done shit for the "surprise" I was talking about and I'm slacking at Vortex. I'd rather just lay around the house and do other crap these days. I read a whole book (yes, can you believe it?) for summer reading, so I only have one more to go. I also went and saw Tomb Raider 2 the other night with some friends from school, and the movie was surprisingly good. The plot could have been shortened a bit, but Angelina Jolie in a tight wetsuit or bathing suit is fine with me.
I'm actually in a really good mood because I was on the phone for a long time with Allie, Cici, Jen, Tom, and Billy. LMAO.. Allie gave me her dad's phone number at first, so I called it thinking it was her, and he picked up saying "Angie? Angie is this you?" lmao. Good times.. rofl. Oh while I'm plugging people, go visit Cara because it's her birthday and everyone should go comment at her site!
OK you know what sucks? Trying to figure out how to connect a DVD player and a satellite receiver through this wooden TV stand I just got. There's these little holes, but there's shitloads of cords that I had to get out, and I messed it all up, so now only half my speakers work lol. It took me like 20 minutes to figure out how to get my TV reconnected too because somehow I screwed that up. I don't even think I connected the receiver correctly so I won't be able to watch DVDs till my dad comes home and fixes it.. pfft. I guess I'll have to go read another book and write that essay.. *sigh*
OK well no plugs today because I'm busy and I can't be bothered to even use the shortcut. I need to get off my ass and finish Meteoria because it's supposed to betomorrow and it's no where near done! 66COMMENTS // We had the biggest storm ever yesterday lol. Some people were saying a tornado blew threw my neighborhood, and there were up to 65mph winds! Someone in my neighborhood had a tree fall on their house (which they were renovating at the time) and there were a bunch of huge tree branches in my backyard too. It rains too much here.. anyone in California wanna trade houses? Lol.
I was thinking ofng up a design site here at Remixx.net because I've had several offers from people wanting to buy layouts. I just have to think of a catchy name for it and put together a portfolio, then I'll be all set. I also have another surprise coming up soon at Remixx.net.. you'll just have to wait. I'm so impressed by how well Vortex is doing, even though I say that in every blog lol. It was up to 427 members yesterday, but I deleted 100 people that didn't post a lot so I didn't crash the server. I'm only going to allow 350 members and if you don't post, you lose your spot.

I actually got the chance to surf sites yesterday and return the comments from a few days ago. Be aware that doesn't happen much because it's very tedious to return 40+ comments everyday, and more on new layouts. I saw some awesome layouts though: Whiteboycanjump.net, Amplicate.org, Rockthemic.net, and Type-M.org. Speaking of layouts, I'm working on a new one which will be up in a few days.. hooray!
49COMMENTS // Hey guys, I just switched over to Billy's server today because I was using up too much bandwidth and space on Allie's resller. I want to give a big thanks to Billy for putting up with me and giving me so much bandwidth and space.
Anyway, I've come to the realiziation that I'm too generous. I've bought like 4 people domains this month, then I get ignored. People talk to me until I spend my money on the domain, then it's like I don't even exist. What a great thank you, huh? I only have $6.50 in my Paypal now, when i would have about $30. I also got two orders for custom layouts, but I doubt they'll pay me. No one ever goes through with anything they say they will these days. The same applies offline... I cleaned out both my closets, read part of my summer reading, and I still don't get my computer back. Doing stuff to please other people is overrated, and I should just stop. It all backfires and I'm always the one getting screwed over. Nothing good ever comes from it *sigh*. I'm just in a very bad mood today, not trying to give everyone a guilt trip lol. But everyone is being so hypocritical, I just want to scream.

I really don't have the time to return comments like some of you might expect me to do. If you really only comment here to get a comment back, that's really sad. People were hating on Jenny for not returning comments, then when I defended her, I got haters here too. So yeah, some people have no lives and are just too ignorant to see that. Oh well..
By the way, someone copied my layout. How stupid can people be? The layout even says "remixx.net" all over it in small writing lol, but the stealer just blurred it all. I actually saw Legally Blonde 2 the other day *gags*. That had to be one of the most pointless movies I've ever seen. I don't see how Reese Witherspoon can be so "blond", but still be a successful lawyer. I guess some questions in life will never be answered... I think I've been to the movies at least once a week all summer. I'm addicted to movies heh. I never used to like to go, but I always seem to go with the same people too. We're like.. the movie group. ROFL.
Anyway, thanks everyone for making Vortex so successful. I can't say that enough seriously. You guys rock! I think it's past 350 members now, and it's very active, unlike a lot of other message boards these days. So I urge you to go join.
