I’m determined to bring my digital camera everywhere I go for the next year and a half to try to document what is left of my high school experience. A few weeks ago, I realized that I have virtually no pictures of myself or friends from the past few years. I want to have photo albums that I can flip through for the rest of my life and remember all the fun I had during my senior year of high school. I know, that sounds extremely corny. I guess I’m just a dork.
I applied for some jobs over the weekend. I highly doubt I’ll actually get one, but it was worth a shot. Most stores that I’d consider working at prefer employees to be 18+ anyway, so I’m already at a disadvantage. On top of that, I’ve never worked anywhere else. I really wish job hunting wasn’t so hard!
This site desperately needs to be revamped. I want to upgrade to Wordpress 1.5 sometime soon, but I’m completely lost thus far. Anyone willing to help me with any template/setup issues I may encounter? Email me.

There’s almost no better feeling than hearing new music from an artist you love. I just downloaded some new material by Andrew McMahon (lead singer of Something Corporate) and his band Jack’s Mannequin. It’s just what I needed on this boring Saturday afternoon. Go download “Kill the Messenger” and “Holiday from Real.” I guarantee it will ease the Something Corporate withdrawal symptoms. (Speaking of which, they need to come back to Atlanta sooner. August is too far away!)
It’s definitely time for summer vacation. I think everybody is pissing each other off at school, teachers and students alike, and we’re all ready for a break. A few months of not seeing some people can do a world of good. I can’t fucking wait.

(Click to enlarge)… I turned that in for the “Physics Photo Contest.” We had to take a photograph (either natural or contrived) to show something related to physics. I chose reflection.

Time flies by quickly these days. The release of the new layout was delayed because my Prom was this weekend. That was fun, I guess. It was interesting to see everyone in nice clothes; suddenly, the people who look like they don’t bathe on a regular basis actually look somewhat decent. I went with a fun group, too.
I hate being a junior on “Senior In & Out Day” (though most people refer to it as Senior Skip Day). I’m enrolled in a lot of classes with seniors, so all of my teachers gave the rest of the class a study hall period. I sat at school for seven hours and just talked to people about stuff that happened at and after Prom, etc. I love and hate days like this: it’s fun to not have to work, but I would have rather not been at school.
I desperately need a new computer. Throughout the whole layout making process, I kept having to delete a few files every so often so Photoshop would still function. It reminded me of having to throw furniture in a fire to keep it burning. I have no space on this computer, so I’m lucky if more than one program willat once. I also need a new digital camera because it refuses to store more than one picture on the memory stick; after that, it dies. Why does technology hate me?!
I need to get back into the groove of returning comments. Speaking of which, leave me some on the new layout!

I’ve been back from Cancun since Sunday night, but I finally got a spare minute to sit down and write a blog. For those wondering, Cancun was amazing. The scenery is so picturesque (which probably explains why I took 39 photos). Not that this came as a surprise to me, but the city was very Americanized and every hotel worker spoke to me in English first. The resort was all-inclusive, meaning that all food/drinks were paid for in advance. Four restaurants and bars (with no drinking age… and hell yes, I took advantage of that). The whole week was very relaxing. Exactly what I needed after stressful weeks of school. If you’re interested in reading details about the trip, view my livejournal. To see my pictures, visit the gallery at ohSNAP!.
I need to clarify my “excessive vacations” now, which some were discussing in the comments of my last entry. No, I do not go on “10 vacations a year” as one person put it. Spring Break was my first vacation in a year, and the only other times I’ve been out of town were for college visits of quick weekend trips. I do tend to go on a lot of those short trips, but that’s only because my dad gets free flights from being a pilot. But hey, if you’d like to call me a spoiled little rich kid for being able to travel every once in a while, go ahead.
My cell phone broke again. I got it a year ago, and the screen broke a few months after that. They sent me a new one for $70, but it broke again. I hadn’t even touched it in a week since I was out of the country, but it apparently hates me. I’ve never dropped it or spilled anything on it, so I don’t understand how it just died all of a sudden. After I yelled at T-Mobile and explained how pissed off I was, they agreed to immediately ship out a new one and extend my warranty for another 90 days. I’m convinced that I’ll never have a fully functioning cell phone, because stupid stuff like this always happens to me. It’ll probably break again after the 90 days are up.
It feels really good to be back in town. Sleeping in a small hotel room with my parents got old after about an hour, and my own bed is looking pretty good right about now. Thanks for all the comments. Expect a new layout this weekend!

I’m back from New York and no longer have to suffer from the cold, rainy weather. Apparently we picked a horrible weekend to go up there, but it was still fun. I only took five pictures because of the rain, but click here to view them. (And yes, two of those pictures are from Friday’s episode of TRL on MTV. I was visible outside!)
I’m not back for long though; I leave for Cancun (Mexico) in a few hours. I’m definitely anticipating sitting out on the beach with no cares in the world!
This site is so neglected, and I apologize. It will probably remain this way for a little while longer until I can get my life back under control. Hopefully this vacation will help clear my head. I appreciate all of you (fans?) for coming back day after day. This site will roar back to life SOON, I promise!
