School stuff
Thank you for all the comments on the new skin. They were very much appreciated, as always.
I started work this week on my research paper for English. Though it is required to be eight to 10 pages long, I have a fairly interesting topic to write about (well, to me, at least), and I’m sure that I can fill it up. I’m writing about how Weblogs and Internet news websites have revolutionized the media and how people receive their news. Network news programs’ ratings have severely dropped in the past ten years, so the media is clearly moving in new directions. I have five books and four journals to read through to find quotes, facts, and other details; I’ll probably devote my upcoming Saturday to this project because I really want it out of the way.
The third quarter of school officially ends today. One more quarter (9 weeks) until summer vacation, and then comes senior year of high school! This year has gone by so fast; in fact, I just had my college planning meeting at school to determine which colleges I want to apply to. My list isn’t very big, partially due to the fact that I’m set on applying to Missouri-Columbia and going there. But it would be wise to look into some other options, just in case I get rejected or just change my mind in the next year. I have way too many college brochures to look through.
Thanks to all the people who have joined R-Rated. Y’all are awesome (and yes, I just said “y’all”). I’d now like to apologize for writing such boring blogs. It’s amazing that people still manage to read them. Thanks!
