During the fall of 2003 and Spring of 2004, I moved to different domain names, Addicted.nu and Trashy.nu, but I eventually came back here on June 2, 2004, after the 1 year anniversary of this domain. This skin was created out of boredom while I was surfing through my past layouts. I attempted to remake an older layout from Remixx.net, but I added some "modern" trends to it (Josh and Kyle's brushes, etc.). Enjoy!

You can all blame school for my lack of bloggage lately. But have no fear, I'm back to save your day with this amazingly boring blog. My first day was Wednesday the 11th, and I've barely been online since. This school year is so much better now that I can drive myself to and from school everyday; instead of coming home right after school and sitting around by myself, I've been going out with friends and such until eight or nine. Oh, and I'm quite excited about being a junior in high school this year! This year is just completely awesome so far. I even got an 11 out of 10 on my first English pop quiz, so that really put me in a good mood. And I'm also pulling two honors classes, which I've never done before, so that's always exciting as well. Yay for school, haha! I really need to get in the habit of only seeing movies in the movie theater once. Those movies are so damn expensive, and I usually see the same movies over and over with different friends! This summer I saw "Spiderman" twice, "Fahrenheit 9/11" twice, and this week I saw "Collateral" twice. I just can't wait until my 17th birthday in December, so I can get into R-rated movies legally. I'm so sick of this sneaking in thing. I don't like being rebellious, haha. Remember when I talked about my computer finally being fixed and virus free? Well, I was wrong. My computer has been going extremely slow again, and I can't seem to get rid of these damn viruses even after following Norton's every wish and command. Norton just isn't doing his damn job! Sadly enough, I think I'm going to spend my whole Saturday reformatting my computer (deleting everything, including Windows XP, and starting over). My hard drive is virtually full though, so this is going to take a lot of preparation to back up all my songs, website files, and illegally cracked programs! I hope I can remember how to install some of them, such as Photoshop; some of the directions are really unclear. Wish me luck, and if you don't get a comment back on your site today, don't worry. Well I guess you should worry, because that probably means that I fucked up my computer and I threw it out the window. Have a nice Saturday, y'all! I'm back from Florida, and I'm tan (well, sort of tan, mostly sunburned, haha)! I'm in a rather drowsy mood though, caused by my non-stop sleeping during the vacation. I've never slept that much in my life. I slept on the becah all day, then I came in and slept in the hotel room at night and watched TV. I'm not used to... being awake. This is odd. Eh, I'm peeling from all the sun I got. I swear, I'm going to have skin cancer by my 17th birthday at the rate I'm going. Longboat Key is where I stayed, for those of you that were wondering. It's such a pretty beach, and I had such a great time. I didn't get to take any pictures of the beach though; I didn't think to take any pictures until late yesterday. And by that time, it was starting to get dark and cloudy. I did manage to take a few pictures of the hotel room and the surrounding area, and I might post those soon for you all to look at. I really want to go back! I'm quite angry that I only have two more days of summer vacation. I seriously hate the Georgia school system, ugh. Public schools here start in 15 hours; I'm actually lucky since I have an extra two days thanks to private school! Public schools in southern Georgia went back last week, *cringes*. Ick, enough talk about school. I shouldn't be thinking about it during my last few days of summer; after all, I'll be stuck there for the next 10 months, *dies*. Anyway, I'm probably going to be switching over to Brandon's server in the next few days/weeks. Magicomm is nice and all, but I want a more reliable and faster server, that doesn't go down for days at a time. I don't konw when exactly I'll be moving over to the new server, but it will be in the next few days or weeks. School starting might put a dampter on my internet projects though. We'll see. The reason for the lack of bloggage lately was caused by the always evil summer reading. School starts next Wednesday (August 11th), so I had to get my summer reading done this week. On top of that, the parents were putting an even shorter deadline on it in order to go to Florida this week on vacation. Thank God all that summer reading stuff is overwith, because it was hell trying to read a two whole books and write an essay after a summer of relaxation and lazyness. I seem to have lost my ability to write a coherent sentence after two months of writing blog entries. The two styles of writing contradict each other; blogs are very laid back and essays require proper grammar and good word choice. It was hard not using contractions or vernacular language in my essay like I do here. I wish I was a better writer, since that's the career choice I'm most interested in at the moment. *Sigh*. It's really depressing that summer is over. I'm dreading going back to school. I got my schedule last week, and I don't have a lot of classes with my friends. I thought I was going to be in a lot of classes with one of my friends because we're taking a lot of the same classes, but we ended up in different periods. The scheduling was kind of hard for the school to do since they have to work around my journalism period for the rest of high school. I have a position on the editorial board, so I am obligated to take that class (by choice of course... I wasn't forced to be an editor or anything, haha). I'm so glad I get to go to Florida today for one little vacation before school starts again. I figured I needed a break from boring Georgia to get some sun before I have to sit in an overly air conditioned classroom all day working on schoolwork. I'm debating putting the essay that I wrote up here for you all to critique. Would that be considered cheating if I got advice and constructive criticism from internet people? Haha. I've gotten tons of viruses from peoples' sites by just loading them in my browser (even with Norton on), and a lot of them can't be deleted. It's really pissing me off. If you have a fucking virus, get it off your site (some viruses attach things to html documents, and when you upload them, other people get them). My god, I'm so fucking pissed right now. [/EDIT]
Has anyone noticed that I always seem to blog between midnight and 3 AM? I just noticed, haha. Anyway, it's starting to finally set in that summer is almost over. I've had the worst and most boring month ever because a lot of my friends have been out of town. And now that most are finally back, we only have 11 more days to spend together before school officially begins. The last two weeks before school are always hell. I'm always pressured to finish my summer reading, go back to school shopping, and do all that stuff. Fortunately, I've accomplished one of those two things: the shopping part. Heh, well it was the easier of the two! And on top of all the mounting stress leading up to the first day, 'registration' is this coming week. I'm really not in any mood to even set foot in that hellhole known as school. I will just become too depressed over having my freedom taken away by another year of school. I love summer, and I really wish it was longer! But really, who doesn't? I think when school starts, I'm going to start cutting back on internet stuff. I've been online a lot this summer, and I just can't keep that up when school starts again. This is such a cliche excuse, but I need to improve my grades this school year. No, I'm not leaving or putting my site on hiatus... just don't expect updates every day or every other day. I wish I had better self control, ugh. As I mentioned earlier, I got to go shopping today for back to school stuff (without the parental units, which was fun). I got some clothes from American Eagle, Hollister, PacSun, and Aeropostale. I really don't remember how much money I spent, but it was a lot. I still have a few things to try on, and then I'm going to wash it all. I'll try to take some pictures of my favorite new stuff for you all to see. I'm quite proud of my new clothes! Gotta love credit cards. Speaking of school (well, I guess this sort of fits in with this category), does anyone watch Degrassi? I'm really excited about the season finale coming up next week. I just wish they didn't delay the episodes for the United States. The upcoming season finale takes place at the end of the schoolyear, but it's already the end of summer by the time it's airing. I wonder how long we'll have to wait for the new season. I'm seriously addicted to that show, and I don't know how I'm going to handle my life when the season ends, haha. I suppose I'll have to tape all the reruns and watch them repetitively until the new season premieres. And while we're on the subject of Degrassi... I really need to get Degrassi-Online.com up and running. It's been dead for 8 months (well, technically it never was alive), and the domain's going to expire soon.
