I hate to be all dramatic about it, but I really don’t have much interest in this website anymore. Online journals aren’t worth my time, because so much of my life is not something that I want posted on the Internet. We’ll see what the future holds, but for now I’m not quite sure of this site’s status. I’ll continue to post when I feel so inclined, but don’t expect any major changes for a while.

You don’t necessarily need to share your life online. I don’t understand why many bloggers feel the need toa window into their life. You can discuss any number of items on your site without it being personal.

Things happen… life changes, and other things take priority. It’s normal, and expected.
Good luck with everything that you do. *hug*

If you feel as if there’s no point in this, and talking about your life online is pointless, I guess we all know what this means.

I know exactly what you mean. I blog because of the idea that it is a “secret” outlet in which I could receive feedback on deep thoughts or situations. But when it comes time to blog about those deep thoughts, I don’t feel too good. In fact it’s a lot of work deciding whether or not it is apropriate to show to the world, if I should include this situation because it may violate the privacy of a friend even if they don’t know about the site and I don’t use real names, etc, and plus I just feel bad or that I shouldn’t be talking about some things because they are just that, deeply personal. It’s nice to get feedback, but I can’t help but continue to stay loyal to a personal journal where I can actually talk about anything without worrying about the way I’m perceived too. Deep thoughts are something for you to experience and not for others to decide or judge, so althought the feedback is nice, it means nothing and it really isn’t helping the individual…

Scott, my dear.YOU LEAVE?! WHAT THE HELL?! STaaaaaaaaaaaaaY & keep posting! At least livejournal? Because that’s where I’m at? But no, it’s actually understandable if you do leave because I’ve been way too busy, and bored myself with this high-tech thing they called the internet. But you know, you should seriously STAY because i’ll miss your entries & love you.
How’s that for convincing? I tried, hah.

Like the way this site looks right now. I know what you’re saying though, sometimes you don’t wanna reveal everything publicly, that’s how i feel anyway.

Mmmm. Occasional updates are usually more interesting than regular every-day updates anyway. ^^

Perhaps instead of blogging about your life, which I’ve never really understood why people do publicly, you could use your blog as a place for some well thought out articles. Express yourself in other ways. I, like other people it seems, feel a little sad to see this place end, but I suppose in the end the choice is yours and your enthusiasm has been slipping for a while now. I wish you well for whatever it is that you decide to do, not just online, but in life in general.

I completely know what you mean. I hardly ever update daisykiss, and I still have a lot of things I’d like to do with it. I always tell myself I’m going to work on it, but whenever I do get the time to work on it, I’m never really want to.

Scott!! I hope you dont give up on Remixx.net. Its been such a great place to visit and read your blogs about daily happenings in your life. Senior year must be rather stressful though, and very busy, so it is understandable about your feelings for this place. Good luck with whatever you choose to do with this site!!

awww that sucks that you are’nt finding owning a website what it once was you could always turn it into a graphic or tutorial site, without the blog. xx

Well I really hope that you decide not to close Remixx because it has always been a fun place to check out. I am guessing that Senior Year is tough, and of course school is more important than your site. Hopefully you are having fun though!

As a regular visiter to Remixx, I do not believe that you should be thinking of closing Remixx (if you are going to…I can’t really tell from your post?) You have inspired so many people for such a long time. I would hate to see Remixx close, and i’m sure everyone is aware that people have a life ‘outside’ the internet. You can tone down on the blogging, but stay online, and you will continue to inspire people every day.

i say it’s good in a way not to have time to post your life on the internet.. it shows you’re busy and acually doing something with your life. which is good. We all love remixx.net and what the future holds so be it. We’d love to see you blog more, but hey.. when you’re busy… you’re busy! Besides, who doesn’t go through changed. Whatever choice you make with this website.. i hope it’s all for the better. Still like to see it up though, even though you don’t blog much. Oh well. Hope everything is going good for you scott!!
