And now, I leave you with some quasi interesting facts that I learned while reading Fast Food Nation:
01. The McDonalds golden arches are more recognizable than the Christian cross.
02. Most of the food in fast food restaurants is automatically cooked by machines. The food arrives frozen, and shakes/sodas begin as syrup.
03. Fast food restaurants are now more attractive to armed robbers than convenience stores, gas stations, or banks.
04. McDonalds’ Chicken McNuggets are cooked in beef extract. In addition, they’re more fattening than the hamburgers.
That being said, I’m never going to eat at or work in a fast food restaurant ever again!

That’s pretty gross, but I still will be eating my fast food! I don’t really like McDonalds though, they always seemed to be one of the lower-grade fast food places to me.

i read the book on an airplane once, and after finishing, i looked suspiciously at the airline food. clean and simple layout, i like it. (: ashamed to say i don’t think i’ve heard of the song, however.

I want to read Fast Food Nation. I think my sister had it but now I can’t find it. One of the books I’m currently reading is “Nickel and Dimed” which is kind of similar to FFN, Supersize Me, The Jungle, etc.

I actually love McDonalds (more so than Burger King) because of all the fatty goodness. I need the fat, heh.

Money is highly overrated That’s pretty nasty about the Mickey D’s stuff. I never knew that about the nuggets. I don’t think I’ll ever look at the golden arches the same way ever again. Nice site,BTW. First visit, probably not the last.

I’ve officially stopped eating fast food as of last week, it’s gross. The only good thing about it is the convience and the fact that it used to be cheap. The only really good fast food is Chick-Fil-A. I hate Wendy’s though. Everytime I get a drink there it tastes like hairspray. I have no idea why I know what hairspray tastes like, but I do. Anyways, the layout is really nice and simple, which I love.

Fast Food Nation is a really good book. You should watch the movie “Super Size Me,” which is probably really good as well.

I would not work at Mcdonalds. People complain of the crappy pay and working conditions. So after doing some research I decided not to work there. But Wendy’s and Burger King sounds better than McD’s.
