I finally took the time to reformat my computer. Well, I can't really say I did it, since my dad did most of the work. I just supervised to make sure everything was going well. It was a bitch to back up all my stuff before the reformat though; my computer was full of songs, layouts, avatars, unfinished graphics, codes, and a bunch of things I just couldn't delete. I ended up using two 700mb CDs, then I realized that I could just put everything else on the network. What a waste of my life. It's all done now, and my computer is virus and spyware free. Oh, and more good news: my computer is back in my room! For those dedicated Remixx visitors, you may remember the computer being moved out into the hallway in January. I'm so excited to have it back. Finally I have a little bit of privacy.

I just whipped up this layout last night, and I've decided that I don't have a use for it. It's now up for sale at Vortex in this thread, and if you'd like to see the larger version, click click here. It features Ashlee Simpson obviously, and anything about the layout can be changed if you buy it. Hell, you can even have the .psd file if you really want. The starting bid is $1, but you'll have to check in the Vortex thread to find out the current price (it's an auction). Oh, and if you need the layout coded, that can come at an extra cost. We'll have to work something out. Please buy it because I'm trying to work towards a rename token at live journal!

You know what really irritates me? When I clean my room one day, and then I somehow manage to dirty it back up even worse by the next day. I spend so much time cleaning and vacumming (sp?) my room the other day, and now it's a mess again. Dirty clothes are scattered across the floor, and somehow I've managed to accumulate five coke cans and a bag of Chips Ahoy on my dresser and computer desk. I seriously need to stop eating Chips Ahoy, Doritos, pizza, and Chick-Fil-A. That's basically been my diet for the past two weeks, and it's really unhealthy. I'm afraid I'm going to get fat and no one will talk to me. I wish I had a larger selection of healthy foods that I like. I'm quite picky, and I hate being that way! I swear, I must have some kind of eating disorder. Like, an unhealthy-food-loving disorder. Whatever.

So I must say, Journalism this year rocks! Since I'm a layout/photo editor, I get to go to all the editorial meetings, and I have a big say in how the paper turns out. I thought I was going to be kind of unimportant since I'm not like a "news" or "features" editor, but the editor-in-chief has done a pretty good job of getting great ideas and opinions from all the staff members, not just the writing editorial staff. The editorial position is also very cool because I'm no longer the newbie in the class. Last year was my first year in Journalism, so I didn't really have many responsibilities or the ability to boss people around. I'm definitely liking my newly obtained power on the staff, and I think this year is going to be really fun.

I've been listening to a lot of new music now that I've got my computer all nice and clean, and I was able to ditch Kazaa Lite for LimeWire. I have to say, Ashlee Simpson's songs are pretty damn catchy. I promised myself back when "The Ashlee Simpson Show" came out that I would hate her, but that's since changed. I think her songs are promising. No, I did not say awesome or amazing, I said promising. Her album has a few catchy tracks, but the lyrics still need some work. It's a rare occasion when a song can contain both a great tune and meaningful lyrics. Ashlee Simpson just hasn't achieved that level yet for me. I guess her debut album is a good start, and I can't wait to hear more from her in the future. She's also fucking hot, which is also a plus.

Before I go, I need some ideas from y'all. I plan on purchasing a rename token from Live Journal, but I need some ideas for a name. I tried so many of my favorite song lyrics and such, but I haven't had much luck finding an available username. If you have any ideas (preferably without underscores or numbers), post them here.
