It’s quite rewarding to work for nine weeks on an art project and finally finish it. I was assigned to do countour drawings of my classmates, transfer the good ones onto a slab of clay, and then paint it. I finally finished, though, and I’m quite happy with the results. I only have my basic drawings to display on here right now, but I’ll take a picture of the clay slab when it’s finished being fired. (Probably a week or two from now)

Now for some not so good news… exams officially begin today and go through Thursday afternoon. I start off with Honors Spanish 4, followed by math, US history, Honors Physics, and then English. I still haven’t grasped the reasoning behind having final exams in the first place. What’s the point? They’re worth 20% of my final grade, but they’ve never actually helped me. It’s become normal to expect my final grade at the end of the year to go down a few points because of exams. Ugh. Summer vacation is looking more and more appealing everyday (well, not like it’s not always appealing… but whatever).
