The library is evil
Thanks for all those comments on the last post! I’ve been sick in bed this week, and then catching up with schoolwork that I missed. Sorry for the lack of bloggage.
I despise people who think their job is the most important one in the world. I was at the library the other day checking out a book for a history research paper, and the librarian refused to accept my mom’s library card instead of my own. I explained to her that I lost mine; I don’t come here often; and I just needed this one book with my mom’s card. I had to pay a dollar and about 15 minutes of my time arguing with the dumb woman as she figured out how to activate a new card for me. One would think that a librarian would know her shit by now, *rolls eyes.* She also seemed to think she had to walk me through each step by tilting her computer monitor so I could see what she was doing. After I got a new card, she spent another few minutes advising me to cut up and dispose of my old library card if I ever found it. As if my master plan was to obtain two identical library cards so I could check out twice as many books, *rolls eyes again.* I finally got my damn book though, and all was peaceful in the world.
Word of advice: don’t ever miss two consecutive school days. You will return in a stressed out state which will most likely not go away for another week. I hate playing catch up. I’m off to school now!

I’ve been sick for these past two days, but luckily I only missed one school day because today is a snow day so I’ve only got one day of work to catch up on. I hate having to catch up on school work, but good luck on catching up on yours.

I hate catching up too.
It sucks. Sounds like you had fun with that librarian. She sure knows her stuff though.. you definitely aren’t getting past her with your evil plan to check out twice as many books. Thanks to her, I’ll be able to sleep at night, knowing everything is right in the world.
Glad you’ve gotten better.

Oh, everyones been sick lately.. I guess it’s just that time of year. Wow, you’re librarian sounds like an ass, although… I can sort of relate except ours is TOO nice.. she’ll give presentations occasionally for teachers who assign book reports and all that jazz, and she sounds so scared when shes up there, like shes going to cry. It’s hilarious, in a weird.. twisted way lol. Anyway, glad ya got the book. Feel better and Take care.

The librarians from my Dad’s town library are the rudest people ever. At least the ones I’ve met. They act like they can control all of the people there and it is annoying x54. :O
Yea, being sick sucks as it is, but then as soon as your better you have a huge amount of school work to make-up. But I like homework believe it or not.

Geez… Why on earth did the librarian do that? Why would she do that? She’s making other people life miserable. Blah. Even though it’s stated in the rules or bla bla bla, rules are meant to be broken! Hah! I hope everything goes fine at school. Tee hee!

I can’t believe the librarian did that to you, not accepted your moms card. I don’t understand why they would do that. Probably to make a dollar.
Hope everything goes well at school.

Oh jeez. All that time just because you wanted to use your mum’s card. I guess it was just because it was in the rules or something. Who knows. Atleast you finally got the book though!
