This tutorial will teach you how to make some clean and neat bordered text, rather than the traditional way. This looks best with small fonts, which is why I am using 04b_03b at 6pt.
up a new image. Make your background color the color you want your text to be and your foreground color off. Then click the text icon (left side, looks like the letter "A"). Make your settings match mine. (click here)
With the text still selected, go to Selections > Modify > Expand and make your settings like mine. (click here)
