Final Product: Your own custom brush for PS7.

up Photoshop with a new document and create some sort of shape. You can cut things out of stock photos or draw it with the lasso tool. Make sure the part that you want to be the brush uses only greyscale colors. The darker, the more defined the brush will be. The white part is the invisible part.
Once you're done creating your brush, go to "Edit" and click "Define Brush".
Give your brush a name.
You're done! Now you can use your custom brush.
